Our sustainability projects encompass initiatives focused on renewable energy implementation, waste reduction, water conservation, and ecological restoration.
Low Carbon Transition Plan
Our rooftop solar plant is a tangible demonstration of our commitment to renewable energy. This installation generates 210 kilowatts (kW) of clean electricity, offsetting more than 60% of our current traditional energy consumption. Every month, we're harnessing power from the sun and reducing our carbon footprint by 20 tons of CO2, which is equivalent to planting over 750 trees per month, for the next 25 years! This project helps us directly reduce our Scope 2 emissions, a critical step in our transition towards a low-carbon emission business model. By lowering our energy costs and enhancing our reputation as an environmentally responsible organization, this solar initiative also contributes to our long-term growth and sustainability
Water Stewardship Plan
As part of our comprehensive water stewardship plan, we are actively implementing a rainwater harvesting system with the goal of capturing 30% of the rainwater falling on our manufacturing land by 2030. We have already begun efforts, diverting a portion to our freshwater reservoir for direct use and the remainder to strategically placed rainwater harvesting pits. This dual approach will not only significantly reduce our reliance on external water sources but also actively recharge the local groundwater table as we progress towards our target.
Green Space Initiative
We are committed to fostering ecological balance through our green space initiative. As part of this commitment, a minimum of 10% of our factory area will be dedicated to ecological gardens, water sources, and other natural habitats. This initiative will enhance biodiversity, improve air quality, and create a more sustainable and harmonious environment for our employees and the surrounding community.
Sustainable Waste Management Plan
Our comprehensive waste management plan aims to achieve a 50% reduction in non-biodegradable waste to landfills and incinerators by 2030. Key strategies include establishing partnerships with authorized recycling centers, exploring innovative recycling technologies, implementing a robust recycling program for various materials, and promoting reuse and up-cycling initiatives. We are committed to fostering a culture of waste reduction and resource conservation among our employees.

Solar-Powered Interactive Education Panels with Built-in AI Educational Features
We are actively involved in deploying and running innovative, solar-powered panels at schools, offering interactive, AI-driven educational experiences. By providing these resources, we are not just enhancing education; we are creating dynamic learning hubs that empower students with future-ready skills and knowledge.
Clean Drinking Water Access
Beyond simply providing access, RTPL in partnership with Trinity Care Foundation executed and managed a project aimed at delivering clean drinking water directly to a school in Bangalore. Through our coordination and hands-on efforts, we are improving the health and well-being of students through prevention of water borne diseases, and fostering a healthier learning environment by empowering government schools.
Jaipur Foot Camp
We actively participated in organizing and running Jaipur Foot Camps, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Bangalore, directly providing vital mobility solutions to those in need. By taking a proactive role in these camps, we restored independence and enabled individuals to lead more fulfilling and integrated lives within their communities
